MSBA Small Flock Educational Sessions

The MSBA Small Flock/Beginning Shepherd Committee has three exciting sessions planned for 2010.
They will be held April 17, June 5 and August 22. A variety of topics including lambing basics, fleece care, wool processing, spinning, weaving and other topics will be convered. Click here for more information.

Stock Dog Training Demonstration

Jeanne Weaver will be conducting a stock dog demonstration at the MSU Ag Expo (July 20-22) at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm each day of the Expo.

Integrated Parasite Management Program for Sheep and Goat Producers

Dr Richard Ehrhardt and Roberta Osborne of MSU will be conducting a parasite management workshop from 10 am to 4 pm at Manchester on July 24, Union City on July 31 and Beaverton on September 11. Click here for details.

MSBA UP Picnic

The annual UP picnic will be held on August 21 at Ben and Denise Bartlett's farm near Chatham. They have a great day plan. The UP State Fair is also going on so a trip north could include both events. More details here.
