Starter Flock Program
MSBA has begun a Starter Flock program that will
provide Michigan youth with a way to get started in sheep without
the hurdle of finding money for the investment. Ewes will be donated
by members of the Michigan Sheep Breeders Association to youth that
apply and are accepted for the program.

The 2009 recipients and donors are:
Kelly Raterink of Zeeland received three registered
Suffolk ewes from Terry and Joanne Renn.
Rebecca Flynn of Tekonsha received three Southdown
ewes from Jackie and LC Scramlin.
